Eternity in Death gives us a vampire story. Sort of. This is Eve after all, so while Peabody and Roarke are doing the silver crosses and garlic, and Baxter is handing out wooden stakes... Eve is looking at the facts and is sure it is smoke and mirrors.
The thing is, this author has given us a few paranormal things that have been actual paranormal things, and a few that have been "grifters" pretending, so the question was there throughout the story. Is this a real vampire or a scammer who is playing the part?
The blurb doesn't tell us much, but here it is:
Eve Dallas finds herself in a supernatural showdown with a most seductive criminal: a vampire.
